The Salvation Army will kick off its 118th annual Red Kettle Campaign on November 13, 2009 which will run through January 31, 2010. The money raised from this campaign is used to provide assistance throughout the year with food for the hungry, clothing and shelter to the homeless, rehabilitation programs and opportunities for underprivileged children. The Salvation Army has seen dramatic increases in requests for its services over the past few years due to a confluence of reasons, including a weak national and state-wide economy, a slumping housing market and automotive industry lay-offs/cutbacks. We need your help now more than ever. There are severals ways that YOU can help this Christmas season:
Thank you for your support during this Christmas season. You are helping to "Do the Most Good" in Eastern Michigan. God Bless.
