We are dedicated to finding a good match between a volunteer's desire to serve and our opportunities for service.  We want to be good stewards of your time and talents and give you the highest satisfaction possible while serving.  Here is a summary of current volunteer opportunities:

ADMINISTRATIVE AIDE:  Provides administrative assistance and clerical support in relation to the business and social services operations.

ATTENDANT-EAST DOOR:  Provides customer service for those entering and exiting The Salvation Army facility.

ATTENDANT-WEST DOOR:  Guides clients in selecting nutritious food items from our food pantry through the Client Choice system.

BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR:  Provides administrative assistance and clerical support in relation to the business department.

CASE MANAGER: Provide intake and client services to those seeking assistance from The Salvation Army social services.

CLIENT GUIDE-BASIC NEEDS:  Guides clients in selecting nutritious food items, hygiene, clothing, household goods, and over-the-counter medications through our Client Choice system.

COUNSELOR-RED SHIELD CLINIC:  Provides on-site mental health counseling services through the Red Shield Clinic. *skilled volunteer opportunity*

CUSTODIAN:  Provides support in the custodial and light maintenance duties of The Salvation Army facility and property.

DATA ENTRY CLERK: Perform data entry for services rendered from The Salvation Army social services.

DRIVER-SOCIAL SERVICES:  Transports daily and/or special donations for use through our social services. *does not include items for thrift store*

EDUCATOR:  Provides instruction and/or materials to aide participants in a specific field of study.  *skilled volunteer opportunity*

FINANCE CLERK:  Provides basic accounting and clerical support for the Business Administration office in relation to donor contributions.

FOOD SERVICE WORKER-FUNDRAISER:  The Food Service Worker is responsible for the daily operations of the Snack Counter, kitchen and Break Area.

FRONT DESK AIDE:  Provides assistance and clerical support at the Front Desk in relationsto the business and social services operations.

HEALTH CARE PROVIDER-RED SHIELD CLINIC:  Provides on-site episodic basic health care services through the Red Shield Clinic.  *skilled volunteer opportunity*

INTAKE WORKER:  Provides intake services to those seeking assistance from The Salvation Army social services.

KETTLE COORDINATOR:  Conducts recruitment efforts for volunteer bell ringers, performs community relations responsibilities, assists in processing employed bell ringer assignments, and monitors work performance of employed bell ringers.

MAINTENANCE PROJECTS WORKER: Help provide support in the maintenance of The Salvation Army facility and property.

MENTOR:  Provides support, counsel, friendship, reinforcement and constructive example to program participants.

PARKING ATTENDANT:  Directs traffic flow in and out of parking lot, makes parking assignments, and provides direction for off-site parking locations during high traffic events.

SEASONAL SERVICES COORDINATOR:  Provides coordination and support in the management and operations of our Seasonal Services.

STOCKER:  Maintains the general upkeep of the food items, hygiene, clothing, household goods and over-the-counter medications and provides support in the management and daily operations of the Basic Needs Distribution Area.

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR:  Provides support in the administration, coordination, and development of Volunteer Services for The Salvation Army.
