The Salvation Army provides a variety of services to our local communities. With facilities throughout Western Michigan and Northern Indiana we are able to meet the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of those in need.
The Salvation Army provide a wide variety of Sunday services at over 30 locations throughout Western Michigan and Northern Indiana, including Sunday School, Praise and Worship Services, Bible Studies, and Youth Activities.
The Salvation Army has several programs in place to meet the needs of individuals who find themselves in need of temporary housing. We offer several programs to support families in trouble. We provide counseling for job development so parents can support their families as well as family development and parenting classes. We also offer a variety of programs to gaurantee that the children of our community have food, clothing and shelter.
The Salvation Army's Disaster Services team is prepared to respond to a disaster immediately, anywhere in Western Michigan and Northern Indiana. The Army has several emergency services vehicles that can provide meals on site as well as act as a communications center to coordinate relief efforts. We are the first on the scene and we don't leave until the community is back on its feet.
